Studies have been done to prove that Reiki, in fact, works on a physical level. When I asked the question: Reiki does it work? I found out that the effects of reiki have been studied at the University of Calgary. They did some clinical studies, which concluded that some cancer patients showed positive reaction to reiki, receiving pain relief, when no other methods worked, and this was not the placebo effect…

In the USA tests had been done too, between 2006 and 2008 on stressed-out lab rats.

In this case, the placebo effect could not be part of the results. The rats, after receiving Reiki, showed significant reduced stress, anxiety and depression levels. Other test have been done on humans between 1993 and 2006, which also gave positive results in reducing pain.

Regardless of all the studies and scientific proof, there is nothing like experiencing it yourself. I know that Reiki works for a fact, because I use it all the time, and I have seen the positive effects myself. At that point, I did not need a scientific study to prove it, and I would laugh at the skeptics.

It’s important when receiving Reiki, or getting an attunement during Reiki level 1, 2 and 3, that you stay open minded, and not have expectations. During my first Reiki treatment, I expected nothing, and the effect was great! Reiki has been around for a long time. I believe that things that work stay with us over decades and centuries. If Reiki did not work, I would not been writing this blog right now.

I can talk a long time about how great Reiki works, but ultimately it’s up to you to try it for yourself. Only then will you understand. My tip is that you learn Reiki: Reiki level 1, Reiki Level 2, and Reiki Level 3, Master/Teacher. The reason I say this is because this is how you can make the biggest change in your life, and it empowers you to give yourself Reiki, which will also save you money.
